What another busy month in 1st Room 4!
Our theme of the month has been Houses and Homes. We learned poems, listened to stories, and made rows of houses in our art lesson. We explored homes through junk art, construction, role play and small world in our outdoor learning area.
We took part in Science week. We put on our engineering hats and had fun with bee bots. We made houses from straw, sticks and bricks (like the 3 little pigs!) and used a hair dryer to investigate which house was the strongest.
We also learned all about the life cycle of a chick as we welcomed some very special visitors to our school!
