5th Class had a really interesting trip to the ReDiscovery Centre in Ballymun. The building was actually the old boiler house for the Ballymun flats and it now is a centre for the circular economy and a sustainable future. We got a great tour and Ruth told us all about the history of it, we saw the snail pond, garden and living wall, viewed the ReDiscovery Furniture, Fashion, Paint and Cycling reuse social enterprises. We then took part in a sustainable fashion workshop with Gavin. It was a great day and we all learned so much.
