We created beautiful geometric hearts for Valentine’s Day this year. We traced the outline of a heart onto card and then used our rulers and pencils to create evenly spaced dots around the edge and in the middle of the heart. We joined these dots using straight lines to create the geometric style. We used watercolour paints and metallic markers to create the shiny, translucent effect so that our hearts looked like gemstones. We wrote Happy Valentine’s messages on coloured card on the back.
